One Line Studio wants to create a sustainable and ethical company who strives to do things differently. Collectively we are people who want to make a real difference with our creative expertise and work on projects which have a positive impact on society, communities and the environment.
I’m Helen and as the owner of One Line Studio being an ethical company means that I take care to ensure the people I work for and with care about support this ethos. It’s not restrictive and I don’t impose any harsh regulations or exclude without thinking first; every supplier and client is thought about on an individual basis and the scope of the work produced at One Line Studio is testament to doing things a fairer way being a lot easier and cheaper than you might think!
Before setting up One Line Studio, I spent three years working with Oxfam GB on their fair trade handicraft product development lines and then a further two years living and working in Nepal, India, Philippines and Vietnam with fair trade producer groups.
For me it’s simply about good ethics and fairness being at the core of everything I do!
