When it comes to a brand design project, we designers love something creative we can really get our teeth into…
Working with Fair Trade pioneer and activist Sabeena Ahmed was once such design project. Sabeena knew her customer inside and out, she had strong, achievable business goals and with our help, we developed an exciting and innovative re-brand of her business: The Little Fair Trade Shop, Dubai UAE.
We were commissioned to help Sabeena create ethical packaging for her range of Fair Trade products and add these products to her website in an eye-catching way. We began by evaluating how far her brand design had come and what we could do to help reinvigorate this unique brand.
How It All Began
Having been friends on Facebook since March 2012 when I was travelling and working closely with The Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand, Sabeena was aware of our ethos surrounding ethical businesses and ethical graphic design. In late 2015, Sabeena contacted us to find out if we could help her re-launch her website as a fully working eCommerce site and revamp her brand in the process.
